La Ferme du Four has been in our family for more than five generations. It consists of a group of original honey-coloured stone buildings which include the main farmhouse, former (uninhabited!) barns, old bakery and a wooden tobacco hangar. All this is surrounded by about 12 acres of private land and forest. The farmhouse has been refurbished recently and it provides our guests with modern comfort while keeping its Périgourdine character.
The property is located in the heart of the Périgord Noir region, about 3 miles south of the medieval city of Sarlat and in the centre of the sprawling 12th century village of Vitrac in the Dordogne valley.
Although situated in the most touristic part of the Périgord region, La Ferme du Four guarantees our guests tranquility and an “escape from it all”. The farm is set back from the main roads and nested on a forrested hill overlooking the scattered houses of Vitrac. Yet you will be less than 10 minutes’ drive from the supermarkets, restaurants and open markets of Sarlat, Cénac and Domme.

Four bedrooms, each with a double bed (140 x 190 cm) and one with an additional single bed (90 x 180 cm). All bedrooms are on the first floor.
Two bathrooms: one downstairs with washing basin, toilet, walk-in shower and towel heater; another one upstairs with washing basin, toilet, bath/shower and towel heater..
Large living room with a characteristic wooden furniture; dining area in the back and an informal sitting area around the fireplace to the front.
